ty mate. It is an amazing little case, I had one a while back before I got this one. Sold the first one I had to phinix, worst descision I ever made, so I bought this one!
Bit more progress: Converted the slim yate to open corners : And sleeved another yate and 3pin Y splitter : If my heatshrink arrives tomorrow I can sleeve the last yate and a few other bits and bobs.
Another update- luckily post came today, so I got the few bits and bobs I needed Got the top fan mounted with m3x14mm bolts from modelfixings. Feet also came: and mounted along with dust filters Fans mounted using m4x30mm bolts from modelfixings: And now some final progress pics: Thats all for now.
ty H20 Started on preliminary cable management. Cut a hole at the top of the mobo tray (rough I know but wont be seen ) And now I can do this with the top fan's cable (will plug into cpu fan header) And started managing the case fan cables (going to be using a molex - 4 3pin cable to power these) Trying to go for a really clean cable install. Not easy in a case this small. However as long as it looks good through the window when the lights are on I'm not too bothered.
Got a tiny bit more done on wire management. As far as the yellow heatshrink on the Y adaptor goes, its there for a reason . Case fans are on yellow 'shrinked Y adaptor and the rad fans will be on a Red 'shrinked one. No no guessing which is which All the holes and cable ties that looks kinda messy will be hidden by the mobo so no worries there
Looking good dude, I love that case, its not one I would normally associate with water cooling but it just shows where theres a will.................
hehe. I am looking at having duniek make me a full cover block for my p5k-premium. The ones he has done before for the p5k series are the sex. Will be pricy but very worth it for looks.
Baaad things happen when I get bored... Firstly replaced horribe crosshead screws on IO panel with nice bolts THEN I GOT REALLY BORED Psu in (can you see where this is going ??????) DUN DUN DUN So yes the rig is in, and works and the temps are great. This install is very basic though, the mobo etc will likely get stripped out again and cables will be properly managed
nice work so far, check out my Ruby Red build, it uses a A05 too and I shoved two liquid cooling systems in it and well if you have any questions feel free to ask. The link to my RubyRed build is in my sig. Keep up the great work.
Did some more cable management, looks pretty decent through the window. Not perfect but this case is a ******* to cable manage.
