Don't hybrids have an alternate internal combustion engine that lets them drive farther than a standard IC car?

Also, last time i checked you can quick drop a battery from an all electric car and insert one in about 1 minute. (see renault and nissan)

1 of those 1000 cars wouldn't happen to be a Delorean, would it? =P

there was a delorean in GT4. personally I'd rather skip the car damage. I wouldn't want a repeat of Eddie Griffin's performance (for those of you who have no Idea what I'm talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECvp58r7P44). I'd like to crash into a wall at over 200 mph and yet the car survives intact.

yes, it would be nice if the article was updated to not mislead everyone into a Sony hate festival like pretty much all PS3 articles.

I'll start taking bets on how many Skylines, 350Z and Civic etc duplicates there will be in the game.

I understand Civic and Skylines but 350Z?

There are like 5 generations worth of Skylines, but like 1 350Z...Sorry just being anal about it.

Well it was a joke as a GT fan but there are a few variants but yes not that many like the Skylines. It was just the next thing that came to mind.

If you join the weight of the electric motor and the batteries i think it will weigh about as much as an internal combustion engine + fuel deposit, plus you don't need a gear box or a clutch.

everyone keeps going on about how realistic gt is. gt 5 prologue the cars felt like they were glued to the track, there was no sensation of speed and it was so boring. the cars looked realistic, but the textures used for the scenery were nt even detailed photo realistic textures like other games, they were just a plain colour without even some shading. look at the grass for instance next time u load up gt5pl, its a joke.

compared to grid where cars felt alive and there was great sensation of speed. it was more realistic but still much more fun. it looked vastly better, levelling up was nt tedious. nascar and wrc only things were giving a trial in gt5, but if these are like the rest of it, back in the rental envelope it goes and the grid disc loaded up for the 100th time

GRID is more arcadey actually. GT5 does get boring, if only because the AI is so damned perfect.
