    Yeah because the 5850 is definatly in all the consoles and was out 5 years ago when they were released.

    Moving on, that's a pretty high bar to hit when it comes to it! I'm seriously going to need to look at new graphics cards by the end of summer me thinks!

    Well there is always the poor console port option a la GTA4. This is the lowest gfx card they can get it to work on with out spending any time on the actual port... Man i'm getting cynical.

    It's reflective of an engine that scales well. The recommended spec tells you a lot more about how much extra work they put in engine wise to create effects/high res textures purely for the PC market. This knee jerk reaction to console ports is ridiculous anyway. Here's an idea, see if the game is fun before dooming it based on which was the lead dev platform.

    Hmmm Core 2 Quad is a little broad. The older ones would be a bit of a bottleneck for a 5850.
