Only escape? You realise every post you make, the more absolutely witless and dim you appear? Why are you still here trying to push your point, havn't you got the hint yet, not a single one of us is moronic enough to take anything you say with more than a pinch of salt. But by all means continue, you are providing me with some entertainment and at the end of the day it is only your time being wasted here, because your point is invalid and you havn't provided anything to convince otherwise.

And please, tell me what this 'Lenny' did that has led you to persistently attack him in your posts? He's obviously not trying to sell duff chips by making false claims otherwise he would be linked to in the OP. To be honest, I glanced over his posts, but do enlighten me. Besides, if you really want to know, I don't give a rats ass what that guy has said or done, my eyes are on you.

Well by including a bunch of model numbers would technically be fraudulent. He's not selling 990Xes there, nor is he selling 3800Ks. In fact he's selling 2600Ks. I would have no problem with this under one provision. If he just said i5 2600K+ or OC'ed or something like that. Inventing an entirely new name for something that already exists technically is fraud. Because it's flat out lying.

I mean imagine how angry you'd be if you ordered a very attractive Italian escort only to find out it was a bulgarian man. The simple matter is, he's making up names and re-naming something that has already been copyrighted and not only that but he's selling them at voltages that are deemed too high (1.5 is insane).

Exactly, 990X's and 2600K's are from different generations of chips. Just because the chip he is selling is faster than both of these doesn't mean they should both be in the name, otherwise you'd have to put all the commercial CPU's that ever existed into the name.

I think it is quite well known that a standard 2600k can be overclocked to well over a GHz on air, it's a feature of the chip, that is why Intel put the K at the end of the name because it is suitable for overclocking. What makes these other chips any different form the standard chip? A registry hack?

lmao...alright pal, that's it I'm done with you. :hehe: ..if you don't already know about the issue with "lenny", then you're much slower than I thought..and you've made my point for me indirectly. I'm not saying this disrespectfully either, I just can't believe what you just wrote. Seriously, there's no point in any further debate - we've made our points and enough is enough...I've got no further beef with you.

so you are buying and rewarding false advertising? there is obviously no such thing as 3700k at the moment. if the advert only said: overclocked 2600k, it would be more reasonable.

even if it said overclocked 2600k, it is still false advertising for the simple fact that all chips are different, you cannot sell a sealed CPU and guarantee a certain frequency.

stop posting rubbish about a trusted bit-tech member and buy a normal retail 2600k, it'll save you so much trouble.

    @calibromucho

    Plus :
    1) retail price for 2600k is $314.99, so unless he sell these chips for $900+, he can't really "cherry pick". Hell, even 1 from 3 "cherry picking" is a very bad ratio to find a very good "overclocker". Of course it depends on a definition of a "good overclocker", 5GHz at 1.44V and 5.1GHz and 1.5V is not a good "overclocker". A really good overclocker chip would be 5GHz at 1.39-1.4V.
What he is selling on ebay is a "2 weeks until your CPU die due the 1.5V overvoltage" type of overclocking.
    2) as other mentoined before, the description contradicts itself. "Pre-tested for Performance Guarantee!" vs ebay listing as "A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable)". Once you broke the seal and put the chip in any computer, even for testing, you cannot sell it as new.
    3) 3dfx, voodoo - i think it's time to notify NVIDIA - http://www.nvidia.com/object/legal_info.html .

PS: The mental state of the seller is best described by the mental metal playing in background without asking. I guess he is from MySpace generation mentality.

To avoid further name-calling, Anyone who cares can double check for themselves, the initial link that LennyRhys put up is exactly the same location as the cpuz pic's location on the ebay page, just like Lenny said: http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/wxonline/CPUZ-Supercharged-3800K-1_486v.jpg

If the link gets changes somehow the initial picture will change/disappear with it.

The pic that lenny saved to hard drive is linked from a different location, just like he said.

calibromucho, can you see this for yourself? right click on each of the links and copy the image location, open a new tab and paste the address in. You will see the truth of the matter for yourself.

The SUPERCHARGED 3900K Extreme (Amped i7-2600K)" and ('SUPERCHARGED 3700K') are bogus chips, and do not exist.

The ebay listing is a scam and full of faked benchmarks and poor photoshop skills.

Lennys image is not important, what is important is that anyone looking at this thread, gets this^^ message.

Lets make sure that happens :)

Can I just point out that it's next to impossible to his 6GHz with Sandy Bridge. Given that some of the best overclockers in the world could only hit 5.7GHz with LN2.

Clearly you are not as enthusiast as you claim.

P.S. GTFO or Relix will hunt you down.

Well, we aren't that far :
    http://www.google.com/search?q=SUPERCHARGED+3700K

No 8 in result list, another 3 of 10 topics talking pretty much the same as we do here.

    www.google.com/search?q=SUPERCHARGED+3900K+Extreme

    No 2 in result list.

    :)

Good luck with that. 57 multiplier, 105.26MHz base clock... Well, i don't hink you will find such chip and board.

I still don't get why he's going on at Lenny still. As I said before, even if his accusation is true... what does that even mean? We know the image got changed already, does it really matter so much whether it got changed once or twice? It was shopped incorrectly by the seller the first time either way.

Looks to me like a lame attempt to divert attention away from himself, but it's easy for people to check for themselves what really happened so he doesn't really have a leg to stand on and should stop going on about it.

All it's served to do is show he's prepared to use underhand tactics to get a point across, if everything was as sound as he claims he shouldn't have to, it should sell itself.

I seriously wonder about the mental state of someone who knows that everyone knows that he is who he's defending (ie, the seller) but still carries on.

As if to somehow convince us otherwise.

    It's dumbfounding.

Well think about it logically, if you're eBay product was googled and this thread was found, it would be damaging.

So logically you would try and save some resemblance of legitimacy by putting a conflicting view on the thread for any gullable people to consider buying your product.

That's because no one cares, kid. It's like saying you have 'damning evidence' of a child stealing from the cookie jar....even if we were to believe you over Lenny (which, given the amount of s*** you've been chatting in this thread, ain't no easy task), we're far more interested in the douchebag who posted these ebay listings.

But hey, look on the bright side - at least now you have 20 posts you can get free delivery from a reputable seller like Scan, and not some ebay cowboys out to make a quick buck :)

P.S. - Intel/AMD/Nvidia might be a bit peeved at you him for using their graphics in a fraudulent listing. Regardless of whether the images themselves are copyrighted, using them makes it appear as if their company endorses/supports that product/seller, and they probably wouldn't take too kindly to that if they were to ever get wind of it...
