You can't find anything to tease me with? :jawdrop:

I'll take that as a huge compliment! Thanks man! :)

Thanks man! I wasn't sure about the dissipation area, but after looking at it for a while now, I'm quite happy with it! :)

Damn... You're seriously gonna hate it when the top goes on then...

    Thanks man! :9

But personally I like the refreshing look of it so I agree 100% with Shurika on this. :D:rock:

    Thank you sir! :thumb:

I've come to like it quite a bit myself, so I have a sneaky suspision that I'm not gonna alter much before starting the manufacturing. :)

It's people like you who truly makes me happy! I'm honored! Thank you very very much! :)

    Yup, it must be.

I got started on the block today. Well... I cut the aluminum, and milled the outsides.
I spent an hour after work to get started on the CAM portion on the block. I have to admit that it's a bit more time consuming than I had imagined. Unfortunately I have to use both 1 & 2 mm mills, so I can't really push hard. :)
All in all I think there's about 10 hours of milling in the block... But I hope to get started tomorrow. :)
I'm single again, and this time it's for good. No need to comment on that, just making the point that I have all the time in the world to get this mod done! :)

C ya tomorrow with an update. Keep your fingers crossed that it's a good one!

    :naughty:

Thanks a lot man! Neither can I! :)

I agree... And to be quite honest, I think it might actually be worse than 10 hours... But hey, got nothing better to do in my spare time!

I got a head start on the block today. I decided to come in early and set it up. Then it could run for a couple of hours while I tended to my real job, since the mill was not going to be in use today. :)

More pics, less talk, I know! :)

Since I'm too lazy to setup the other vices, I'm only holding on to half the block. Also a reason the the not too fast progress! :)
But I got the outline done:

I had to do an extra run with the contour mill, since I had the spline deviation setup to an Un-Godly high number. For normal small pieces I never noticed it, so it must be a percentage and not an actual measure as I thought. But hey, I learned something today.

    T'was a good day! :)

    After the re-run:

And you know how much I love my 60 degree pointy tool:

Milled the inserts for the O-rings:

I actually got a little further, but I won't reveal that until tomorrow! :) Might be a long day, and I HOPE to actually finish the whole thing, if all goes well! (Don't jinx it Angel! :) )

That's it for now. C ya tomorrow with another update! :thumb:

I have massive respect for your scroll saw skills! But this is taking it a step further! :) Thanks man! :)

Thanks man! I truly hope to get i done tomorrow! I made the program, and set up the tools, so I should have the back of the block done tomorrow. Gotta get to work early, and just let it rip! :)

YAY! :) Tomorrow afternoon will show if it pans out, of if I mess it up! :)
