I'm sure a tech forum would be very understanding if you went robosexual, but yes, pics would be inappropriate.
Rig turned out awesome, even incomplete.

I'm glad I read this thread before I filled mine. Tygon tubing and Mayhem's Blue Berry. What would I do without this place?

Your build looks awesome, mate! Any plans to paint the 3D printed parts?

Thanks all. Still having issues with the build as i have to order new hoses for the god damn loop... Glad this info was on the bottle, oh wait, it was not. At least it was on the website for the dye, OH WAIT? It wasnt......!!

I still cant belive i had to hear this from another modder. And not even the retailer who sent me this was aware of the issue.

How it looks now, and how it looks when just filled into a new hose:

    Update soon, I hope:)

This case needs straight tubes, that would fit in with the clean look of the wireguides you made. Also will the EATX connector get the same guides as the ATX?

Looks fantastic mate, absolutely love it.

With regard to the tubing and dye problem I think its about time the manufacturers started being a little more upfront about known issues.

I think most people who already watercool are aware that most clear tubing goes cloudy or leaches and that certain dyes discolour tubing yet as you have said its never mentioned before you buy it.

I remember how P*****d off I was when I did my first loop, spending a small fortune making it look good, then after 2 weeks it looked terrible. I complained to the supplier (one of the biggest in the UK and very reputable) and was made to feel like I was being unreasonable.

I guess to them its just normal but its not acceptable in my opinion.

Hehe straight tubes are not really my "thing". That, I leave to kier ;)

Yeah. At the moment I just have to bite the bullet and have now used the (hopefully) last 80€ on this build. Parts should be here next week, and THEN its photo time:D

Nope, it was tygon:) I have ordered some clearflex, and hope this will not react as well.

I've been searching my brain for something nasty to say about that tubing, but... It just plain ol' sucks! Hope the clearflex works out! :thumb:

Clearflex clouds badly after a while,Duralene tubing seems to be a favorite right now....

Does this not depend on what liquid is used? Not trying to shoot holes in your statement, I'm just curious. :)

I bought some cheapo stuff from RS a year ago, and that has taken it's toll with engine coolant, water, and different brands of water coolant. Only problem I've experienced is that the color from Primochill get's stuck in there.
If I clean it out, it's as clear as the day I bought it! :)

Edit - Was wracking my brain to remember what the exact product was, and low and behold... The rs number is printet all over the damn tubing!

293-2016 Enter it in the search field on rs-online. :)

    yeah, lets hope so :D

God ****ing dammit... If the clearflex clouds up too, I am going mental. Especially since that is what mayhem recomends in the interview where i had to read about the problems in :wallbash:

I am not sure what causes it TBH,i think that UV plays a part...the tubing at the back of the bench stayed clear for a lot longer than the tubing on the top.
It seems that the cheaper tubing actually has better resistance to clouding, that duralene is soooo cheap.....
This was after just fitting it to my bench.

It doesnt look like that now i can tell you!

OCN has an interesting thread on this.
