I haven't posted here in a quite a while. It's good to see this thread is still going! Here are a couple from the recent transfer of the Space Shuttle Endeavour. These were taken during the flyover of the Johnson Space Center, and then later during the public viewing at Ellington Air Field.





And then something completely different:

 

Nice fence, the sky in the first shot is so grey I thought I waslooking at a black and white.

 

Amazing photos supermonkey... THe wall is just AMAZING... holy crap what a sexy play of light.shadows and wood. Damn... I have a semi wood....

One of my first shots with my new mamiya setup.

Just put a roll of portra through to make sure everything was working as it should,
should be sorting out some models soon for some proper shooting!

 

Funny - I think the same thing every time you post something new.

 

About the only good photo I took today, really need to use my new Camera more to learn how to shoot with it properly.

I won't lie, i'm extremely happy with how this photo has turned out. For a 300$ camera and no tripod, I think it's great (especially considering I'm just a noob)

The stitching job isn't perfect but I had to do some parts manually because photoshop had trouble connecting some of them

(Leaves to the left/right are the issue here I think - tighter crop might work for the left hand leaf but not the right, background is also a little busy perhaps and could have used a slightly narrower aperture)

Been a while since I had anything new. That should change with the next few months. I'll be doing a LOT of shooting if all goes as planned.

My workplace just provided me with an iPhone, so while commuting I snapped a photo.
What do you guys think, this is very not my type of photo,
but I just love the guy's stare at the lens

Happy oktoberfest indeed. Isn't drinking in public illegal or something?

I have some more. I've had to really mess with contrast/blacks to get them looking anywhere near acceptable. And the haze robbed me of so much sharpness, it's maddening.
