I finally finished the mechanical > SSD disk cloning that I was having so many problems with earlier in the week. This machine now runs so much faster! I've done dozens of these now, but it still amazes me how much of a bottleneck a slow mechanical disk can be on a system. Twenty second boot Cheesecake!

 

In fairness they're crooks that take ~20% of your sales.

Basically I buy stuff at bottom barrel prices and make ~3x profit.

1.5x post ebay.

Still worth.

 

Looking at mobile contract upgrades etc

LG G2 - £34 on Vodafone, Unlimited Minites, Texts and 6gb of data yes plox

New Year is upgrade time.

Though I may check with the vodafone discount twitter first as I got a good deal out of them last time.

 

What makes my life awesome?
I just launched www.thecvsender.com - It's not 100% done yet, but the parts that leverage most off existing projects (see sig) are there.
I am nervous as hell, but ultimately excited. And that's awesome!

Paul Van Dyk signed my Nikon lens (on the barrel, not the glass) when I was covering him last night. Really cool dude and he really loves his Lindt chocolate

 

Just scored a 10/10 for a Dutch test. That's not the best part.
I'm in the 4th class of HAVO, and the 5th class is the exam class. The test I made was an old exam for 5 HAVO. It never happened before that someone scored a 10/10 Didn't even rehearse as it was a reading test.
It also counts as 25% of my final grade this year, so I now have a huge buffer!

Another thing that is ROCKING my life right now:

A while back i entered http://www.africaconnected.com/. A Contest by Google to bring tech to the third world in a way that has an impact on the community.

I have since been called by Google twice, and told that I am being considered for semi finalist.
It means NOTHING yet, but it has me SUPER proud, and it gives me a (currently much needed) push to move forward with my employment portal.

 

Pay rise. Woop.

 

Being Seminole, the feeling that Water Moccasin picked this design is strong. It's FAR more comfortable and functional-I'm getting used to wearing one constantly, and it helps immensely with the issues with double/triple vision. They still think I had a stroke to cause the damage, but at least this way I can see again.

 

Tax rebate... Time for an MATX build me thinks..
