IIRC, it was about the same size. It's weird, the 1st time i downloaded it, it was that big. After messing about with it again it downloaded 5.5GB, looks like they've thrown every language they could possibly think of onto my PC.

Sounds like a bargain. I too often pay £55 for a game which hasn't been reviewed, then defend my purchase when it turns out to be highly flawed.

Do you always revel in others misfortune? Do you feel greatly superior?

What a lovely person you are!

Yeah i've had a couple of crashes but the game is immense.

I don't regret picking it up at launch. I play every evening and have a blast. Yes there are bugs, which they're patching, but it's not totally broken by any means; for most of us anyway.

It was a good decision to buy at launch for me. Ive barely suffered any problems at all and have really enjoyed it!! I also love having the new packs turn up throughout the year. With the playtime il get from this its a very worthwhile purchase indeed :)

I don't regret my purchase. I didn't pre order but do have the complete package.

I waited till I could afford to buy the game. Yes there are issues but so what.

I know that my game time will shadow any other game for the next year.

Even if I stop playing six months down the line. Still plenty of time well spent.

I completed the campaign. It was visually stunning. The story was a bit meh.
Irish's gradual warming to hannah was a cheese fest
(<---probably doesnt need spoiler tags but whatevs.) and the game play was a standard modern shooter. I suppose its good to see some women thrown in the mix as well.

Ive played 100 od hours now and the only bug ive had is a couple of crashouts between maps loading. People are clearly suffering with more...maybe they just have crap computers lol

I would rather pre order and play a great game that has bugs than buy a game that unfolds to be a parcel of s***

The issues with BF4 are few and far between for me and so far i am loving it.

Its the being dead before I even get a hint of anyone's gunfire that is doing my head in.

There is an issue with hit registration and seeing the frames on screen.

There is also an issue with hits even detecting. Earlier I fired direct shots with an LAV at a tank and had no registration.

Yesterday I fired a shot from a tank at a Z11 which didn't detect at all.

And the deployment of flares/even is sometimes delayed so much that you get hit anyway.

Things will get fixed. We know they will. People just need to be patient.

Fired up China rising last night for the first time. Played one map (which I did **** on) but enjoyed the map! It was the desert with a camp in the middle. Choppers, tanks and jets EVERYWARE

That would be Silk Road; actually my least favourite of the new maps but fun nonetheless.

Those are two facts, not just inventing things to justify my purchase.

Here is another fact: You are a troll, and this is Bit Tech. We do not tolerate trolls. Reported.

£55 for a game and it's dlc. The game itself isn't flawed imo. It's fun and offers entertainment. Is it balanced? Nope. Does the programme need patching to solve the bugs? Yep. Is it being addressed? Yep.

Also highly flawed? Not sure what games you play, most games have bugs on release. At worst this is a medium. Though since it sounds like you haven't actually played the game, I'm not sure how you can comment on it's state.

As someone who clearly spends a lot of time on the internet (how does one make 8000 posts in 3 years?), I'd have thought you understood that trolls are unlikely to use an account they've had for years.

In all seriousness, I'm looking forward to playing the game some time in the summer. I've learnt my lesson with DICE, and I don't see the game being any better than other multiplayer games I enjoy, it's just newer.
