    Sweet build dude,

The tool you used to snip the aluminium looks very useful, need to cut a load of mm thick alu myself and only currently have a dremel (would take hours and several 10's of pounds in diamond circular saw bits), anychance of the details of what it's called/where you got it?

Did you have any CNC experience before buying your machine ? and does it come with the software to get you started. You seem to be getting alot out of what you have ... I want some of that :)

Prior to buying this CNC no, no experience at all, bar assembling 3D printers privately. No software came with this one but many sellers do include rather shady copies of the software you need

Any questions or help in finding a good re seller (i had to do a lot of looking around to find one that was half decent as a lot are trash) PM me

Sorry for double post chaps, in my haste I completely forgot about multiquote

you need to buy the machine...
you will need parts that will drive the machine from your computer, popular would be a g540
you need software to run the machine, popular is mach3
you need software to make the cad drawings
you will need some form of g-code conversion program such as cut 2d or cut3d that can take your dwg or dxf files and covert it to g-code for your g540 to understand...

you can go to cnczone and ask some questions.
you are basically looking at a cnc router setup.

    nice looking build!

Gecko drives are not cheap, what drives someone goes for would be very budget dependant
