I think it might be my windows client or maybe router that is stopping me now, I've gone from a MAC to a windows 8 machine so still getting used to things.

 

Almost as difficult as going from Windows 7 to 8 I would imagine

Right guys I'm using Minecraft launcher 1.4.4 latest version 1.7.9 & the same address as above xm.got-game.org and it says can't connect, firewall isn't blocking as far as I can see, is there anything else I need to check ?

 

I'm connecting with 1.7.10 (latest, latest version )

 

Still nothing when using 1.7.10, I'm on Virgin Media & there new superhub 2.

 

Have you tried other servers?

[edit] Just googled minecraft servers and found a random one and joined it straight away so not sure why I can't get on the xm server ,

 

That's odd.. Lemme check to see if the server is connectable..

I am able to connect.. That's odd.. is something blocking you from connecting to the server?

 

I joined another server fine, does the server have an IP I could try?

Ow my. It seems I have missed a lot. Bukkit project being shutdown, taken over by Mojang, DMCA's all round... what a mess!!

I found out the Bukkit project is in a bit of a limbo with Mojang enforcing its EULA and Bukkit (member(s)) throwing DMCA takedowns in response. The whole story is a bit complex and even I don't understand. There is a complete discussion on bukkit.org though for those who are interested.

The sad conclusion is, currently I can not update Bukkit. The download site greeted me with this:

451 Unavailable for Legal Reasons

This content is unavailable as the direct result of a DMCA takedown request.

What I did do is update DynMap. The reason for the lag was the DynMap cache not rendering again. I have also disabled the hidding of players in DynMap. Now your icon is shown even when you are indoors (sorry for the delay Jr ).

On a different note, I am going on vacation this Monday. I am going to the USA for five weeks! I will have access to the internet, but maybe a bit irregular, so if there is something wrong still feel free to email me mods
