    Work Speed Test

This is just the speed I can get off the production LAN.
Mostly of the bandwidth is dedicated to the 3 onsite data centers servicing most of EMEA. (Central Europe Hub connecting satellite sites to HQ in USA) we have a few 1gbps dedicated lines in.

So 4G towers have recently been getting installed around parts of Cornwall and I thought I'd give the connection a quick test on my mobile.

That's a pretty nice increase of approximately 14Mb/s on the download over what my BT Infinity offers.
If the service gets stable enough to warrant it, I'd consider switching to a mobile broadband service for my PC.
Though on the other side, the upload is almost half of my FTTC connection.

Only got it for 2 weeks more as I move house to a non-cable area, so it will be Sky then.

And that is amazing! For the last 6 months we didn't get more than 1Mbit down, except for the time between 2am and 12 noon... on weekdays.... not on public holidays, though.
