Maybe, but if it's as good as everybody says then I'm more than happy to go for it. It's going to be replacing a similarly priced Napoleon one that's seen frequent use for the last 15 years. I'd be more than happy enough to get similar numbers from this baby.

And for the workshop, I figured I'd pick up some dust extraction and a new sander! Opted for a Festool CTL Midi and a Festool ROTEX RO 125. Heard good things about both of these items, should work well together. Sanding is a real pain for me atm, so having a really good one with proper dust extraction capabilities should help a lot, plus it fits the same polishing bits as for the dedicated units so I can use it for that too.





Should arrive some time this week alongside a load of aluminium sheet.

Minox 35 GL

I really thought the "ebay bargain" was a myth for older camera stuff, since every interesting thing seems to get sniped by major buyers in the last few seconds, but I was happy to be proven wrong.
This Minox 35 GL (the smallest 35mm film camera ever made), in good condition, together with its eveready case and original fancy presentation box and packaging cost me the princely sum of €1,50 (+ shipping of course).
I just put in a low bid, not really expecting to win anything and 2 days later eBay suddenly informed me I had won the auction. Really surprised.

 

Put in for a new ultralight wheelchair today. Got to replace my TiLite as I'm headed home today. I'm sure I'll be posting pics when it comes in.

Polar A360 and H7 strap. Spotted it had been released in another thread on this here Bit-Tech type forum thingy.
Lovely bit of kit. Got the H7 strap for better accuracy at high intensity (90%+).
So far so good. Much nicer than my trusty old R200 that finally died after many years of service.

The GoPro I've been using as a dashcam has finally given up, refusing to record for more than 5mins before switching itself off. This on a new, formatted-in-camera card, and new fully-charged battery.

So. TL;DR - I picked up a NextBase 402G while in Costco this morning.
