That doesn't have any effect on my opinion of Trump.

 

Judging a man by his actions and such is all well and good except of course in a deal there are at least two sides, so while Trump does deserve some credit for trying to sort out the NK mess that does not mean Loony bin Kim is suddenly trustworthy, or should in any shape or form be accepted.
Unless the NK regime is fully held accountable for the atrocities committed any celebration is premature.

 

Completely agree, I'd be surprised if it didn't all fall apart but like you I'm waiting and seeing.

I don't think he deserves any credit for trying, for all we know he could end up making the situation worse, the way he approaches things i think that's a highly likely outcome, it's why I'm reserving judgment until we see how things pan out.

Like you say NK isn't exactly the poster boy for human rights or very trustworthy so I'm fully expecting this to blow up in Trumps face, perhaps literately, however until then I'll be peeking through my fingers.
