A man is defined by his actions.

Exactly, and Obama dropped a shed load of bombs in his time so he's on no pedestal with me.

That doesn't have any effect on my opinion of Trump.

Judging a man by his actions and such is all well and good except of course in a deal there are at least two sides, so while Trump does deserve some credit for trying to sort out the NK mess that does not mean Loony bin Kim is suddenly trustworthy, or should in any shape or form be accepted.
Unless the NK regime is fully held accountable for the atrocities committed any celebration is premature.

Completely agree, I'd be surprised if it didn't all fall apart but like you I'm waiting and seeing. :)

I don't think he deserves any credit for trying, for all we know he could end up making the situation worse, the way he approaches things i think that's a highly likely outcome, it's why I'm reserving judgment until we see how things pan out.

Like you say NK isn't exactly the poster boy for human rights or very trustworthy so I'm fully expecting this to blow up in Trumps face, perhaps literately, however until then I'll be peeking through my fingers. ;)

Recap of pretty much everything in the last month

Better than John Oliver IMO, more dense in info and funnier (approx. 100% less yelling at a picture in the corner), though Last Week Tonight obviously covers a wider range of subjects.

And with Anthony Kennedy doing the one (1) thing he wasn't supposed to do, retire, the US seems to be on a straight road to overturning Roe vs. Wade, if not making abortion illegal entirely, promising misery for millions. Oh, and marriage equality could be lost too, of course. Cool...
Kennedy was often a deciding vote in opposing privacy-invading legislation apparently, I'd be curious to know if the new ultra-conservative Scalia replacement, as promised by Mike Pence, thinks the same way [spoiler: he won't].

Kennedy better have a real good reason for retiring. Let's hope this wasn't just some gift to Trump for being such good pals with his son at Deutsche Bank.

And **** Mitch McConnell once again for illegitimately blocking not even allowing discussion about Merrick Garland's nomination back in 2016.

I hope I never have to hear the phrase "Well, if Clinton had won things wouldn't've been that different" again.

Yeah the Orange Mangina dentata in Chief certainly has messed up a lot and shows no signs of learning from his mistakes...

"Hey guys, you know what would be cool? Getting out of NATO."

The next US president will have to fix so much stuff.

Depends what you mean by that, that was only really a thing during the Cold War.

Yesterday showed a schoolboy manipulator meet a master of the art.
