£600 would be about right I spose (pff), but we'll see. How many bargain basement 1080 tis will be knocking around if the xx70 wipes the floor with it.
Looks like PNY accidentally put up a product page GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11GB and 2080 8GB Original reddit post.
Fair few pics around today. Zotac AMP Evga seem to have gone for some new branding with the XC Ultra And MSI have gone for the Duke Palit
So the rumours about Nvidia adding HDMI 2.1 where wrong according to the PNY leak, meaning sufficient bandwidth to drive the Nvidia BFGD and so on still won't exist.
My personal wish list would be a passive 2050Ti that doesn't need PCIE power - your can get a 1050Ti that ticks those boxes but I'd like a little bit more grunt.
It looks like something I've seen before, but I'm not sure what. Maybe a little like Evga coolers off the 700 and 900 series, but I'm not sure that's it.
That's what I was hoping for too - a 2050Ti that could be a perfect low power card that absolutely munches through 1080p and would allow tiny eGPU boxes the size of a 3.5" HDD enclosure. But seen as Nvidia seem to be drastically upping the TDP's this gen (210w TDP is what i've heard for the RTX2080, with 6+8-pin plugs), it seems like they are exploiting AMD's weakness and dropping efficiency in favour of raw grunt.
So the whole 1180 vs 2080 argument is settled... 2080 was the name... 1180 was the price... [of the -ti]
Jensen just said that the Star Wars render from GDX was rendered faster on a single Turing than on the 4 Volta's used at GDX!
Ebuyer attempting to cash in on Asus 2080Ti pre-orders.... £1344.99 https://www.ebuyer.com/nvidia?a=1&u...ail&utm_content=nvidia&cid=7823&mid=443423000 Even funnier is their browser tab title... "Cheap Nvidia Graphics Cards... "snip
They're not the only ones, scan have the Asus cards way more expensive too, the 2080 is only £45 cheaper than the cheapest ti. Prices in general are a bit of a kick in the balls. There's no chance in hell AMD will be able to compete with this. Are Intel now sweeping there gpu under the rug where larrabee lies? But I also can't help but think RTX could well be the next PhysX? Any idea when we'll see a 2070?
I just knew they would tear the **** out of it. The old way of more reasonably priced performance was the xx7x version, which is now set at nearly £600 - what does that mean for the 2060?? £400+? 2050ti for £300 anyone? Whatever Nvidia, I'll be recommending to buy last gen second hand and then jump on the first actual competition as soon as. I wish AMD had never acquired ATI and PhysX never got bought. It has just ruined the graphics card market over the years.
