Keg of Tiny Rebel's Clwb Tropica for the Perfect Draft machine - I was in a Tiny Rebel bar last week and this stuff is so much better on draft, I can't get enough of it



Apparently opinion among owners is that the newer Perfect Draft Pro isn't really worth the extra premium over the original machine - not gonna argue when it saves me nearly £100!

I'm also greedily eyeing a Creality Ender 3 V2, as they're on sale this week. Very very tempting...

 

I bought the same model, a fortnight ago. So far, I'm really impressed - £319 for a 165Hz 34" IPS ultrawide left me thinking it might be a bit... meh, but I'm fairly astonished at the quality.

 

I was thinking exactly the same, it’ll most probably be meh but it’ll tide me over for awhile until I can upgrade and I was pleasantly surprised. Turned out to be a really good purchase!

Sabrent Rocket 500GB NVMe SSD - holy hell, SSDs have got cheap these days!



Thermaltake Toughpower 550W SFX PSU - nearly went with a 450W fully-wired jobbie but it's always worth spending a bit extra for more wattage, and modular wiring will make cable routing in a teenyweeny MiniITX system that much easier.

Time I joined the Big Kids' EDC flashlight thread.

 

I have 1 of those its a really neat light , laser pointer is quite handy .

 

So I got the toaster home. I can do two bagels cut in half at once. Serious upgrade.



I bought the silicon mat because any one with granite knows that if you even so much as let something glass or ceramic kiss it it will instantly smash. Lesson learned the hard way. I was using these micro fiber towel things but they tend to get stains on them and I don't wash hot very often so yeah. The silicon things are proper ace, but I ordered it when I was on my sleeping meds so it was kinda small. Not a problem, I ordered another one the same to go further toward the microwave. I then got a big one for the draining area, because it too is granite.



So I can get rid of the towel thing there too. Given it's "Do nice things to the flat" time I also got these.



Because every fall I have had at has been at night trying to get to the light switch to turn it on whilst off my tits on said sleeping meds.

 

Took advantage of Amazon's 50% off deals so haven't had to fumble for a light switch or phone since

Echo Show 5 on my desk, Echo Flex next to my bed, TP-Link L530B and L530E RGB bulbs and a bunch of Amazon smart plugs. Everything except IT is voice controlled

 

Purchase was quite a while ago, but finally arrived and now been used a bit. I have to say, while they are expensive, they seem very good quality - the ratchet really is smooth.

Said I wouldn't upgrade my video card but the fever got to me and my Gigabyte 4080 areo OC arrived this morning.

 

I and my wallet are still saying that I won't upgrade just yet.

Have to keep whispering sweet nothings to my 1080 until I find a bargain.

Curious about the humidity in the loft now the dehumidifier is happily working away.

Didn't want anything fancy but after reading @wyx087 thread it then felt right to be able to track what's been going on. So a basic Bluetooth jobby.

But then due to that thread I checked the Home Assistant site to confirm that it can be integrated. Which it can. Not that I'm going to go down that rabbit hole. At all. Nope.
