After all parts were post processed, I started with the priming and paint job.

I went for a slightly darker grey tone then in the original, just to make the metal detail pop more at the end.
Some parts also got a small darker details.

After everything was primed, the weathering with black and brown colors followed.

Everything was still a little too bright. So, I went over each part with a dark black/brown wash.
This also helped ti really tie together the weathering affects applied before.

Looks like a £1m Games Workshop box set!

That brown wash looks great :thumb:

Haha thanks mate. Still young, there is way more to come!

While the paint and clear coat was drying, I finished casting the last detail pieces.

All metal parts were then hit with a layer of brown and black metal wax for a suttle weathering effect.

    Quite some parts.

Next, I sanded down some black screws and glued them in to the some holes of the detail parts
to create an even more mechanical look.

Finally, it was time to bring everything together.
Started with the back of the leg. All parts are glued and further stabalized
    with some metal rods.

For the rail parts, I didnt used any glue, but simply put them into place.

After the first parts were put together, it showed that it is quite a complex build.

Next, I started combining all the pieces for the weapon arms.

Next, I needed the elbow part that holds the weapon arm.
I glued the 3 resin cast parts together and stabilized it with an aluminum rod
    inserted in the middle.

The weapon at the front end was simply resin printed and colored black.
For a little metalic effect it was dry brushed with some silver paint.

And the workbench was full again.

Then the assembly of the legs followed.
To hold everything, the core was made out of a 2x2 cm aluminum profile.

Every part was slided on the profile one by one.

Then I made the first real test assembly on a ply wood board.

Then I built in the hardware. Unfortunately, I dont have pictures of that, but its not really spectacular.
Next, there will be fome final images.

It's not as intimidating at that scale. Dare I say... it's cute?
Check on the legality of adding 4 airsoft guns to it before doing V2, though.
