Mighty fine work you have there. I think that you did an excelent job in capturing the HalfLife theme. Keep up the great work! You are an insipiration to us all!
Piloux, if you keep this stuff up, you should contact Valve and see if they'll send you money for the case or something. Dunno, just a thought. Anyways, heres another thought: Your case is awesome. Love the keyboard job.
I'm sorry, but my hoster lycos deleted my account (and so the page www.hl2.eu.pn is not achievable) because of to high traffic. I have registered again and will solve the problem as fast as possible. E: in 10mins it will be achievable again, I hope
That's it guys - I'm no longer inspired, I'm intimidated. Now I can never begin my mod because it would never live up to the standard set by you and Zap. (and Gnome of course - does anyone know what's going on with him? I am a little worried whether or not he's doing ok.... ) Thank you for showcasing this work of art so that we could all enjoy your progress. I am eager to see its completion - mod on. Cheers -
OMGOMG OMFG very kewl I'm just doing my own project and i'd need a similar rusted look but it sohuld look like heavy rust (all dark brown not so bright as some parts of this) any idea for that? also could you list all the paints you used and their manufacturers? Thanks my mod will be put up here too as soon as the server my pics are on gets a new life meanwhile looks at metk.net project logs Project Camo
page 1 ! "instant iron" & "instant rust" from "modern option" there is a pic on page 1 with the two bottle red and green
thanks guys I m actually working on it the grid is off on the pic because I was working on the wiring... here is another one where you could see it , you could also see a green led between power and reset switches and the light from a second uv tube
HOLY! That is just astonishing! PERFECT! Now all you need to do is to mod youre room to suit the case Cheers, Mike
Gauge Were you able to get the gauge functional? Or replace it somehow? I would be willing to bet someone like zap would be able to figure out someway for you to have an analog gauge fit in there and have the needle jump around. Maybe you could just buy a really in-expensive multi-meter and gut it and put the parts into the one you have. It would be so cool to have the needle jumping around with hard drive access or something like that.
I am from Germany.. Can anybody tell me how this thing, where you can put your hands on, is called in English? e: In Germany wie call it "Handballenauflage"
In case you are looking for just that part. It comes with the keyboard. If its the same as mine (and it looks like it is) then its a Logitech Cordless Keyboard, try part number: 867158-0100. Hope that helps. ---------- speaking of cordless, Piloux are you planning on modding the transmitter?
Typo. Piloux...was it difficult getting the paint to stay on the wrist support and do you think it will wear off?
Ive been with this Case Since Day 1 & ive left about 10 Replies here so Far. The Project just keeps getting Better & Better all Lit up is Hot you gotta sell me this Case will pay anything
Yes! And have a speaker connected somehow to make a little clicking noise Geiger counter! Would suit it perfectly (I haven't read the whole thread, this has probably been suggested already ) I soooo want to try that now, but I think it would be out of place on my Project F40 Maybe my next case...
