These images don't do it justice, but it looks like this to some effect:


See how the letters look like they are pretty deep, and lit underneath the plexi. They aren't actually on the surface, but under it.

Basically, the letters are lit, and then reflective plexi or w/e is in front of it. The plexi is a little in front of it, like 2-3mm maybe? The lit letters shine onto the plexi's back, and results in a cool effect.

 

SMALL UPDATE 19-06-05

I haven't had any time (material) to start on the sidepanel yet. I am going to pick up 2 pieces of plexi this thursday for a minor 3 euro

Also this is my orderlist for my WC stuff (and some mesh/plexi). It might change a bit but you'll get an idea of what I am going to use.

My dremel Multipro is on order so I will have that within 2 weeks (they said lol)

Anyway.. I also made the decision to wait for the Crossfire mobo + card. But I will order my x850xt/pe pci-e as soon as my new paycheck is in.

Like I said.. I am going to pick up the plexi thursday so after that you can expect an update

It's been a while since I updated my thread. To be honest it's cause I was working allot and had other stuff to do. But I haven't been sitting still. I ordered my watercooling which arrived yesterday. The order came from FreezingHardware I ordered my sapphire ati x850xt/pe platinum pci-e thursday so I should get it tomorrow

I'm going to start on the sidepanel tomorrow cause I also got 2x AC Ryan clear plexi + 2x AC Ryan meshpanels

Get ready for allot of updates and more frequently also

 

Its always awesome to see new tools and awesome watercooling hardware! The case is very nice, a bit big for me, but nice anyway.

What model Dremel is that? Mine's a 395 but it goes up to 37,000 RPM?

Is it possible the different country's voltage/amp ratings could make the dremel spin slower? (odd though?)

 

Well a month or so has passed.. and I still don't have my videocard

BUT don't worry.. it will be delivered today.. I got our dining room ready for everything.. I'll be spending the next week here allot and I'll try to keep updating the thread as much as possible..

Cats are walking staticballs of death. At no time should they be allowed near components. Ever.
Lizards on the other hand are static-less and look cooler (at least IMO).

BTW this has the potential to be a very sweet mod.

 

Oh yeah.. I went to work @ 17.45 and guess what got delivered @ 18.00 @ my house.. yes.. a present from god

I put my mobo + ram + soundcard in my case. Nothing more, because I have to wait for one barb for my pump because it was the wrong one.

Also I prepped the watercooling for tomorrow/day after.
What i need to know is.. would this be a good loop for my watercooling? It's just an example, because nothing is in its right place atm.



I'm hoping to start on my window and other stuff and to have my pc done around next week.

Lian Li V-2000 is a very good choice aevitas
The case looks big, but it isn't difficult to fill the entire case with hardware I can tell you. Good luck with your mod.
Are you still looking for some plexi? Take a look at Coolcase or at bouwplastics

 

you forgot to order a zalman NB heatsink, this one is a noisy one
Where did you get all the WC stuff? (welke winkel heb je genomen?)

 

@ Franklin. Thnx man, I already have the plexi.. I ordered it at FreezingHardware and got one UVBlue and 2 Clear..
Mayb we should meet and have a LAN with our LL's when yours and mine is done

@ Bluefan. What do you mean with I forgot to order a zalman nb heatsink? I have the nexxos bold for my cpu.
I ordered my WC gear at FreezingHardware also.

@ all the others. I'm hoping my hdd's + ccfl's will come today.. I also ordered a large molding strip for my sidepanel cause I still haven't got any..

I mean the little fan on the northbridge is noisy, is it going to be replaced by a silent one? (like the zalman I mentioned)

 

My pc will probably be on the Hektik festival in Eindhoven. ( 18-20 November )

 

Today I received the last barb thinking I could continue putting the parts in but it's the wrong one.. so they are sending it tomorrow..

I also got my fans for my radiator:



But because I got the wrong barb again I can't continue.. I'll try doing some small stuff today..
