Hmmm, If you'd install something like the passive HD5450 with just the one filtered fan in the right, upper corner... that wouldn't get any airflow at all, would it?

Have you tried looking for a less-deep DVD-drive? There's over a cm difference between brands.

With the latest CPUs/IGPs you shouldn't really need a HD 5450 to be honest, but yes it won't get any airflow to the fins, only the back of the card.

DVD drive: that's true, but how often can you find that information? Most people opt for the cheapest.

It's not as nice as the Lian Li HTPC cases.

It's also half the price of most of them ;)

Dimensions? Most HTPC cases wouldn't $it in my rack, have to be selective!

It's low profile, so height should be fine as i can for some full height models. But I'm still worried about the depth.

And I'm worried about width for my entertainment system racks. Additionally, I wish that the dvd drive was stealth and there was a mounting spot for an internal IR receiver... a man can dream.

PS - Honestly, the GD04 case tempts me a little more than this one. It has better looks and the price isn't much more (at least in the US).

Are there rack ears for it?

Use quite a lot of things like this building porta-puters which then get put in flight cases in order to travel around.

No need to worry about width, it won't be more than 19" and any non mini-model rack will hpuse 19" equipment.

As for the UK price, Scan have it at £46.28.

You're right off course, I just thought in case of reusing old hardware.

DVD Drive: wel, reading technical Specifications helps :thumb: Us users of Shuttles know all about size limitations (Pun intended) :D
Seriously, the websites where I buy show the dimensions...don't the British ones?
