    Typo aside, I didn't pay a whole lot more than that for my additional 8GB kit, and that's for the server-grade stuff with special heatsinks that you need for a mac pro. I've grown rather fond of ddr2... seems to have dropped in price faster and more consistently than any type of RAM before it (more than the usual technology pricing curve)

    If people need DDR2 800.. I have 8x 2Gbs kits of OCZ DDR2-800 Platinum :p

    If someone bought that, would Scan actually be obliged to send out 24GB of Dominator Ram?

    No.

    Not until payment is taken, they then decide to enter a contract of sale on the terms you have offered. Until then they do not have to go through with the sale.

    plus there is some ambiguity in the description, it does go on to state 2x2GB just afterwards

    Well it is SDRAM which is very rarely made anymore so i doubt it. If you compare prices of SDRAM v DDR v DDR2 you will see that the older the product the more expensive it is.

    It says SDRAM DDR2-5300. So yep, it's normal

    high-density sticks are always more expensive - usually one you hit 4GB/module or higher it starts to get nasty.

    WHoops, sorry. was looking at the pin configuration in the picture which is that of SDRAM.
