Lovely. I was expecting a 20 minute montage of you removing the plate from the machine. :D

For small metal parts I've switched to -wait for it- window glazing/caulk on mdf sacrifice. The small bits couldn't dissipate heat buildup and were melting the tape. You have to soak the MDF in water to remove the parts.

I love these buildup/teardown etc videos. But I can't watch them.
Something on the screen distracts me :-/ I just can't help but stop and stare.

Sorry. I am sure you put a lot of effort into it.

If Alex didn't draw it himself, the case model is likely protected by a non-disclosure contract. You can't just give away a CAD file in an industry full of knock-off manufacturers.
You might contact Alex about making some plates for you, but he probably isn't going to give his drawings away.

it's not meant to be drawing I'm out to measure where the screws are set for drawing it in solidworks that I know best to draw programs

because I'm waiting for my corsair 1000D when it's in stock in my country so just want to draw it while I'm waiting for it

I would really love to get the file or the measurements. I made a order for a 1000D myself and would like to get a plate made. Not the same you made but maybe having 2 vertical gpu's and some other fun parts. I dont want to cut my chassi into pieces before i have the new plate in hand. Just the outside measurements would do really. With the corner cuts.
