^^ If you MUST spend it, buy stuff that isn't worthless after a year. I made a TON of cash during my freshman year of HS (4 years ago), spent most of it on PC-related stuff, and now have a ton of nearly-useless PC stuff since it becomes worthless so quickly. Nice speakers or a decent monitor should last a while, but that's about it as far as computer stuff goes. I'd REALLY recommend saving it.
Or get yourself a few games / mouse / mousepad / keyboard / bonsai tree. Buy a gift for a loved one and save the rest?
Invest that, maybe you'll have money for a house or a car or some fancy vacations 10 years down the road. You never know.
Premium bonds. They don't earn interest, but you are entered into a monthly lottery to win various cash prizes, and you can reclaim the cash whenever you want. Alternatively, stick it under your mattress and wait until there's something you REALLY want - having just had to drop £100+ that I don't have to replace a bricked router I'm very envious of your situation, although of course it's always a tricky area - I'm sure the money you've received is marred to an extent by the loss of a loved one. I really do think you'll enjoy it more if you squirrel it away somewhere and then remember it next time you see something you really lust after. AH
well iv decided on some of it I already have quite a few premum and saving bonds so I will put 100 pound in my building socity 200 pound towards a new monitor that leaves me a 100 pound to get somin.
Save half, spend half. Best way you will only regret it in a few years when you want to buy something and have no money

You could start saving it for a really expensive car, a Lambo or rubbish Veyron (anyone want to argue with that PM me) or a really big house. £400? You are nearly there.
