Will it be more 'phone friendly?

 

To get people to upgrade and buy the newer model, even though it doesn't offer much more over the old one.

Oh wait, that describes the PC market as well XD

 

i've tested on Opera mini and Safari on the iPhone.

very fast (faster than other sites with so many features), perfect width for reading sideways and a pleasure to use.

although the old one is also pretty good. except the old homepage isn't as nice and informative.

I for one welcome a change. Sure, it work well now... but if it's going to be as good as you say it will, there'll be no pulling me away from the site on a boring Monday morning (or any boring morning for that matter!). Well done bit-tech and CPC for keeping everything moving forward!

 

at last, finally a platform running Crysis at a decent fps!
But anyway, the current design hasn't shown it's age yet, still looks modern. However the background music is ugly

 

did anybody make a screenshot? Can you leak or put it on Bit Torrent? Because bit is still tight-lipped about this new launch

 

I'm always up for some modding improvments, that's what BT is all about, but I can't believe it's been 5years of this layout? Man I've been here too long.

The beta wasn't a massive change just a nice improvement.

 

a leak? it's virtually public beta, just need to post in a thread to ask for permission. you should have visited the forum more often

although im very chuffed that i didn't have to ask, simply got a PM telling me that i was invited

 

I really hope they also improve the look and feel of the forums.

with luck it wont be a "improvement" like toms site was. a complete mess which noone likes.

 

You say its the first redesign in 5 years but isnt this whole layout different from what it was like a couple years ago? I could swear you changed the appearance of the site before. I mean it wasnt a complete tear down but changes to the design where made but ehh either way will be interesting to see when it goes live.
