Seems there is a patched version out already, and it still has a' known issue' that some users in some cases get corrupted mouse pointers it seems. I really think that's an issue that should not happen in this day and age. It seems very simple to have a basic hardware feature like a mouse pointer work reliably and the only way that could go wrong is a gross violation of protected space and memory being overwritten, which is outrageous in a driver.
Seems to me that is a new trend with AMD, that their drivers overwrite in areas of RAM that it should not, it's not just indicated by the mouse pointer thing but by previous issues too. So perhaps they should find the guy who keeps doing such poor coding efforts and have a chat.
