Why yellow? Black + red or just black + black would've been better. It would have been a disaster anyway, but less of one. Who made the other LAN friendly case that had HDD and CPU and GPU and whatever labeled on the side panel? I think it came with straps..
I remember seeing a preview of that a while back now. Even then, they couldn't understand the logic. Maybe they should have read some of that stuff before actually going into production. I think like said before, It'd be well suited in the DeWalt or Stanley factory but beyond that I think it's just a bit mental.
Do you know what I hate about this? At least a couple of engineers must've looked at the design and yet not one of them thought 'what the hell is this mess?'.
Ugh, it looks like it belongs in some sort of building-site themed lego set. It's the exact opposite of "sleek lines". EDIT: It dosn't look quite so bad in blue & red:

MY EYES MY EYES!!!! I AM BLIND!!!! I don't get Antec.. they make ugly (in my opinion) cases, but for some odd reason, they sometimes, out of blues, they release really nice ones like the P18x series, and the Antec SOLO. It's like if one day they go "You know what.. it's been 10 years since he wire a designer for a case design, and not let my 2 year old daughter do the work... maybe we should wire one.. you know for only 1 case".
I personally think case design is getting worse as we go on.... Classic coolermasters and lian lis anyone...
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the LanBoy Air rev. 2: Shame they managed to botch its looks so bad. I like the modular-ish sidepanel and look. But seriously. Bright colors? Industrial design? Two completely opposite concepts that should never, ever meet.
Seeing this picture related to the LanBoy EVERYWHERE is giving me ideas... Any brave modder willing to take up the proverbial dremel & fit a pc into one of these for one of the most ironic mods ever?
Haha... well I was going to stick with the whole Lanboy Air Rev 2.0 = ironic idea but you can go with the AMD angle as well. After all, the one who makes it gets to choose the name. *hint hint*
Tbh, it'd probably be a better case. It already has the same two front intake fan areas, it already has an antenna for WiFi (LanBoy case is for LANs right? Needs Wifi!), has a front panel LCD display, and even has handles which make it even more LAN accessible!
That is an awful looking case. Antec scored their last good looking case while working with SPCR on the P180. Maybe it's time to LOOK BACK AND SEE WHAT YOU DID RIGHT BACK THEN?!?!?!
