OMG just read that. F me, this bit - However, as a company with a high priority in Customer Service it has been agreed with a line manager to return the item directly to the relevant manufacturer / supplier on your behalf. LMFAO. That's standard F-ing practice with ALL high priced PC goods in the UK. Trust Scam to make a procedure that's common practice sound like they're doing you a favour or something. God, what narcissistic behaviour.
Ah Scan, I had a problem with Scan in 2012 when they sold me a faulty XFX 7950. They investigated, agreed it was faulty, then tried to charge me a 15% restocking fee when I asked for a refund on it. Nice to see they've still got the same attitude. Looks like Scan sold you a RMA'd board, whether they didn't check it or they were supplied it as 'new,' who cares, it's their problem not yours.
Update :replacement is being shipped out when its back in stock along with a offer on a discount on a 13700kf im so happy
Got the board yesterday and its perfect, slite bend but nothing to worry about also got £50 of a cpu when I've got the money.
Yes after I sent all the evidence to PayPal, they didn't even reply, what got it sorted was a very negative review on truspilot and I received a couple of phon calls and that's when we worked it out.
