According to their website, this isn't offered in the US? Is this true?

    Looks nice!

I recently was reading up on the ThermalTake Aquarius 2 W/C kit, but the results from that were not even as good as the thermal resistance from the new Zalman CNPS7000 CU ! (0.24max as opposed to 0.22/0.20)

So to see the Waterchill so highly praised is a good sign that budget W/C set-ups *are* worth considering.

For me it's a combination of noise and temp. If the water cooling kit puts out as much noise in total as an 80mm ThermalTake Smart Fan or a Delta, then the temp drop had better be amazing!

Nice to see a good review of a decent and affordable product, Thanks!

Any Ideas how this kit compares to the Swiftech H20 - 8500?

Also anyone know a UK distributor for the Swifty Kit?

The swifty looks the dogs compared to the asetek methinks.

This thing blows away the Swiftech. It really is a gorgeous piece of kit...and don't go throwing accusation of bias at Iceman, I co-wrote it! It seriously is the nicest of all the kits I have seen..

i knew someone would interpret that the wrong way :wallbash:
i wasnt throwing any accusations at anyone but i thought that iceman was somehow with asetek in some way.
definitely not accusing anyone of anything (except iceman of being a lucky bar steward, i have noticed that another "ha ha im better than everyone" rig has been added to his sig as of late)

Heh I've no bias towards Asetek or any manufacturer regardless of what they make. This kit is simply superb, considering it's an all in kit, it's well priced and the stuff is good quality I thought it deserved a good review. If you look at other reviews on the net too you'll see similar comments. Just because I own a vapochill doesn't make me biased does it? Chipset and GPU blocks are on their way soon so I'll do a follow up shortly.

exactly how does one get a job nuking 3.06s with vapochills?

send me one of your rigs and ill *help* with *testing* all you want :D

EDIT: just out of curiosity what happens to the *old* stuff when you get new stuff to benchmark, like wheres the 3000+ that got replaced with the 3200+ , bact to amd or just in the bin?

"Old" components usually get used for cool projects or things of that sort. You'll have to see where the 3000+ goes next ;)

whats the likelyhood of cramming one of these into a LianLi PC60? :dremel:

I quite fancy it, but its a lot of money to spend when you dont know the first thing about watercooling and it might not fit ;)

Assuming your lianli isn't absolutely chock-a-block, you should have no trouble. Sit the pump/res in the 3 1/2" drive bays, no problems...

Not necessarily no since eventually the system will bleed itself of air anyway. When you fill the system it's wise to hold the res above the rest since it helps to remove and air bubbles trapped in the blocks. It will fit inside a PC60 but you'll have to find somewhere for the radiator to go.
