    Question - when you ran crysis, did the card make an awful noise on the main menu, that changed pitch as you mouse ove the menu options? Mine does, and interested to know if it's the card or not.

    Not that I could tell, I do get a little coil noise like anyone else but nothing major. There was one occasion where it literally was screaming however that was more to do with the stress on the caps from an OTT overclock.

    Cheers mate, It was supposed to be both of my blogs put together but I was bored one night so went for the gold. Sounds like im going on a bit at times though, reminds me of that chap from guru3d :D

    I suspect its because the case is right next to my head then, can hear it more. Seems to only effect Crysis.

    Excellent write up Andy - enjoyed reading that.

    I'm gutted I don't have the time to take part in all of this blogging malarkey. I would have liked to have seen what people would have thought about my experiences (with this card) coming from an ATi *cough* fanboy *cough* I mean, point of view.

    Still, competition aside, once I get time I'll bung it up for shits & giggles!

    Good stuff, you deserve it.
