    Hi guys and girls

One of my mates is moving towards watercooling, but needs a new case first. He wants a Mid tower case with good Rad mounting (without modding) for under £100. The CM 690 II looks like it may be the best option, but are there any others?

Miditowers aren't practical at all with watercooling IMHO, do your mate a favor and convince him to get a larger case.

Yup, I know that, hence why I have a HAF. But he specified a mid tower, so thats what I want to explore first.

Edit: He's said he's ok with a full tower, so any ideas for one for £100?

I'm struggling, but how about the Raven? You should be able to squeeze a rad in the bottom there.

Good try :p Bit too fiddly, may as well go for the CM 690 II...

I've just ordered a Corsair 800D, but I think its safe to say its outside the "mid tower" range ;)

It's also safe to say it's well out £100 budget range.

I'm keeping an eye out for this. I'm in a market for a new tower myself, atm I'm looking at either ATCS 840 from CM and PC-G70 or A70 from Lian Li. LiLi cases will require some modding though.

Fractal Design Define XL seems promising too, and it might actually hit a decent price point being mostly steel.

CM 960 II advanced I hear is quite good. You could probaly fit a double rad to the top of the define r2/r3 aswell.

I saw a HAF 932 for £105 on Aria, looks like the best option thus far.

Not if you buy the replacement top panel.

Correct, though I could argue that it'll only permit one top-mounted radiator, and adds cost to something which is already an expensive case. But it's still nice option to have.

Most ppl on these forum for example don't, but that's question of personal taste. Good thing HAF has it's audience. I'm growing a quiet dislike even towards the "gameryness" my CM 690.

I love industrial rugged looking things though. The 932 has many features that make it a very compelling buy though. I got mine for under £100, which makes it a bargain.

    Hi all,

I'm the mystery person looking for the above mentioned, Bloody_Pete recommended i joined and started taking part in the discussions....

As mentioned i have quite a tight budget which unfortunately rules out most of the mentioned cases. I currently have an antec 300 with a corsair h50 cooling an i7 @ 4.0ghz. I am looking to upgrade this system and get better cooling, and eventually (job permitting...) cool my gpu to abolish the jet engine that comes with the 5850!!

I would greatly appreciate any other case suggestions, obviously i know im chasing the pot of gold at the base of the rainbow with a budget of £100, so i suppose adding another £50 will be worth it in the long run....

    Thanks in advanced!!
