Thanks. Hope you will like it... I mean I'm gonna start working on it again... As I left it aside for a while because of CUBO... not like starting over again from scratch no way I'm gonna go trough all that fibreglassing again
Small update of what I'm currently working on... I would like to start modelling and fibreglassing another part of the front panel, but before I can do that I need to have side panels in place. They hold in place only by hinges at the bottom just now so I need to bold them to the chassis on the top as well. For that purpose I'm going to use double ball catches. They will do the job perfectly and I will not have to use any bolds or screws so The surface of the side panels will stay nice and tidy...
Looks great so far... can I ask - do you work with fiberglass (i.e work or something) or if this the first time you've played with it?? I've done some fiberglass work for car audio projects and you've make the whole thing look very simple and the results speak for themselves!
Thanks a lot! No I don't work with fiberglass, this is the first time I've tried. It was a good lesson, I've made a lots of mistakes, but I will know how to do It much better next time... Got some pics of your audio project?
No afraid not, at the time i didn't think on to take any and i've sold the car since. It was a wheel arch molded sub box and amp tray... didn't really come out how i wanted it to but using the interior of a car as a mold didn't make the job any easier for a fibreglass first timer. I'll be keeping an eye out to see what the finished product looks like Haven't really got the money for any modding myself these days so i have to get my fix by lerking and looking lol
