Nah, Mercedes are busy thinking about next year, but I bet they'll be a little bit peeved at not getting 100% of pole positions under Mercedes power.

7 time world champion is kinda special occasion that may amount to an exception.

Part of me would like it to be true. Once Hamilton is gone it will be the next era in my mind. I guess technically with Vettel finding a seat after Ferrari and Alonsos return we may have another year to wait. Either that or next year is the year of resurrections.

Were they naming stuff after Schumacher while he was still driving [the first time, before his unretirement]?

I dont think its up to the British Racing drivers club to name part of Silverstone after Schumacher.

Surely it should be up to the owners of Nurburgring or Hockenheim to choose to do so.

Maybe they didnt feel he deserved the 94 title or the disgrace of being kicked out of the 97 championship. Maybe they thought he underachieved by having Eddie Erivine as a team mate to challenge him or he should have won several more titles like 98? Maybe they saw Hamilton in the junior catagories and realised he was the real GOAT and thought why bother?

As far as I know they didn't name the Schumacher S at Nurburgring until after Michael retired, the first time.

Mercedes are letting Verstappen win, I never thought I'd see the day, they don't look like they're even trying.

So McRenault just took P3 away from Tracing Point. No way RP should have lost P3, even with Checo's gearbox melting Stroll should have been able to get 6th and make it mathemtically impossible for McRenault, but apparently not.

A perfect example of why you need the two best drivers available in F1, Perez takes 4th in the standings and it's not enough to beat the guys in 7th and 9th. Great work by Mclaren though, ok car with a great team behind it.

This race proved that it does not matter who is leading, the races can still be boring to the general public.

F1 has always been this way and the quicker everyone works that out the better it will be

max wins the most boring race of the year was one quote I just saw

my feelings max drove brilliant start to finish and won convincingly
