Just joined in seen as there seems to be less people here than searching for ET. This one seems a better cause too.

started on my first WU now (at an amazing 5/500  )

To make a team grow, you must stimulate the people - make them want to join. Add it to your signatures, make a site, PM people to join. And get 3-4 people that are knowledgeable, so that questions on the subject are answered 24/7. This is how my folding at home team (i started it for motherboards.org) 33258 has grown and torn up the ranks. Good luck.

Sorry for the second, but with a site as large as yours, you should be getting many more members. I mean, there's at least 200-300 regulars here, while there's only about 100 at mobo.org. Also, BLC - gain the trust and favour of the people - help out, make them like you - it always helps.

Sorry about the third post here, but i add stuff as i think of it. Firstly - the Admins approved the team creation correct? Some won't like you creating the team without they're consent. Also, on the team page, throw the Bit Forums logo in as the Team Logo, or use the Bit-Tech logo. Also, if the team will survive, this post should go sticky, and start looking for farmers to run folding. Also, having support of the mods and admin would help IMMENSELY. After all, without them, my folding team would have inevitably been a struggling post, fighting to keep above post water, rather than becoming a sticky then getting it's own fourm.

Good luck guys, but (sorry to say), you're gonna have a hard time catching up.

Tulatin, I think you're being extremely over-critical, this is still a new team, althgouh I think we all appreciate the advice, just remember we ARE a new team...

While that is new, your growth seems slow. Time for E-mail requests to join, and advertisements.

I personally don't give a **** about how big the team is or how fast we grow its just for the possible results of the study, and I happen to read bit-tech more than any other site so I put my name down here.

Well, assuming that I've got everything configured right, I've just put my workhorse 1.4 ghz to work folding for Bit-Tech.

Edit: Not on the roster yet... guess it doesn't list me until I turn in my 1st WU.
