Yep only once you have sent an unit and the servers have been updated. so it can take a few hours after you have sent it to show up.

Yeah we need everyone we can get - I answered the call a month or two ago and have 75 (ish) units upto date.

Got 4 CPUs on the go: My o/c'd 2500m, Brothers 2500 Barton, Dads 2.8 P4 and an old XP1500 system.

Working on putting another system together to fold - maybe SMP....

Thinking about putting a plea out to forum members at large as 22 ish CPUs dosen't seem like enough given the number of members the forums have.

It doesn't take that long. I did one WU last night in about 8 hours.... half way though the second. I'm leaving the PC running while i go away for a week... :)

    That's long...

    What setup?

    My 2200+ @ 200MHz FSB and 2GHz core takes 3 hours 15 mins...

Who else is crunching SETI BOINC? (or is it just me :| )

This is a folding thread no Seti :worried: hence the longer times per work unit

Endoxus - Good to have you on board mate! I've been doing my bit to drag the team up the tables as well... With that little lot folding away you'll be at the top of the B-T team in no time :)

Well good news for all of you who wanted more power for the team: I can bring 30 Intel 2.2 gHz machines into the cause! Hehe...I work in the computer lab and for the rest of the summer I plan to run folding on as many as possible!

Edit: I have joined folding and seemed to join the team...but I am not showing up on hte team roster...what is the time delay on this thing?

Probably an hour or two irrc. Glad to have you on board - 30 CPUs won't hurt at all BUT are you sure you're allowed to do that? Don't want to breach the terms of your employment - the company you work for might see it as theft.... of there bandwidth \ processing power that is.

p.s. You won't show until you return your first work unit

well apparently I can't get through the firewall. Port 8080 isn't set up for proxy and I can't return any work.

Ohh...and my boss thought it was a cool idea. We used to run seti@home on the server...

Is it just me or does it seem like only a handful of people are actually still folding?

And how is the score calculated?
