Birmingham City University (bleurgh) at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (wooo) doing a BA Hons in Visual Communication (Moving Image)... Basically it's film. Final year.
2nd year History at the University of Southampton, I think arts students might be just a little bit of a minority at bit-tech...
4th year of Computer Science with emphasis on graphics research at Purdue University. One more year to go. Maybe on to a masters. I will probably try to find a job in the industry though.
BEng Marine Technology with Hons in Offshore Engineering at The University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Finished last year and now working in Dubai.
4th Year MEng in Mechanical Engineering at Warwick Uni, either working in High Wycombe or Birmingham come September.
1st year BSc Hons Computer and Network Technology @ Northumbria University - Newcastle. Also doing a CCNA at the same time.
2nd year of an IT tech support HND - heading for the 3rd year of a BSc in Computer Networking at UWoS (Paisley) after the summer, doing all manner of Cisco type stuff as well as the repetitive MCDST
As soon as my teacher mentioned Microsoft Access I hated it and trundled along to get a D in AS and then an E in A2... I hated it so much. I got really good at bubble burst or whatever the free version that came with my PDA was called. My teacher was actually pretty cool about it though because he kinda knew what he was teaching was just boring. I don't think any other teacher would have let me carry on through to A2 with a D grade but I needed to at least take part to get into uni. Which turned out to be just as boring. So I quit, worked in a pub and then lucked into a job as a web designer after learning CSS and HTML in a weekend... Woohoo!
