    Just test fitting the access door to the HD bay. The finger portion will be made deeper. After that, the next step is installing the Soss Hinges.

    Slightly OT... A few months ago I started working on a mini-itx case that could be fully fabbed on my CNC. I got busy with other things and put it aside. A few days ago I opened it up and I was struck by something familiar. The overall shape of the case reminded me of something else I had seen. Was it Corsair, was it Cooler Master? I searched but couldn't quite place it... until I looked in this thread again. The familiarity was in your side panel! It looks damn near like my case's silhouette. I had to laugh. I'm chalking it up to great minds thinking alike. :D

    On topic, the PVC panel looks fantastic. In fact, now I can say you've inspired me to make a case out of it as well. Keep up the good work bro!

    No linkage yet. I haven't felt like posting up pics when I've got current projects to be finished. I'll clean it up a bit and post in a few days if there is interest.

    Anyway, sorry for the thread hi-jack Bill!

    @ Burnout21, hehe.. Corsair has nothing to worry about. It's a kick ass case.

    @Razer2007, especially if you planned to paint your case :thumb:

    @Fabou, cool, it's fun to open..hehe

    @Roboduck, ball catch :thumb:

    @craigbru, Imagine an engine head gasket, then look at my panels :lol: the vertical vents over the window were last minute idea.

    Cutting out the door and window openings, before I could use a Jigsaw with 18 TPI bi-metal blade, I made initial cuts in the steel panel with 1.5" Dremel reinforced aluminum oxide cutting disc

    Can wait to see the completed mod. Apparently I haven't logged into this account for about 5 years. I had to to comment today. I got my 600T from newegg the other day, and its probably the best case I've ever had.

    lol.

    Yeah, a head gasket. I love seeing the motorhead in you influence your builds!

    Killer work on those hinges. They are perfectly fitting.

    @Burnout21, Thanx! ...for watching and commenting along the way :thumb:

    @JWR, glad you like it!

    @Minasokoni, wth?! lol! It's soo much better in person than what you see online, isn't it?!

    @Waynio, Thanks for tuning into this project log :)

    @craigbru, Thanks dude! You'll like working with PVC. It's a lot easier to prep 'n paint than billet.

    Here is the Right side panel... "the door is a lie" ...more details will be airbrushed instead, on this side

    It all looks so damn cool. I think it is asking for a chrome finish.

    One question Bill...

    If one wasn't going to paint the PVC like you are, is there a way of being able to clean it up to remove scratches etc from the modding work? I am think of coloured PVC as a finished panel.
