    I think you mean:
    LG IPS236V vs LG IPS235V

LG IPS235V is a newer revision, form what I can tell. And LG specs says that it's 8ms response time instead of 5ms. (But they might be the same, just LG changed which 2 colors they choose for the gray-to gray measurement).

And the LG IPS235V (based on LG sites, unless it's a typo) there is no wall mount VESA mount support.

LG IPS236V-PN 23 http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000BSYVWY that's the one i bought but if your saying that the one i bought is 8ms rather than the 5ms that is advertised it seems like i've been conned.

the lg web site says ips235v which is the one i received is 14ms

Personally I always like to get what I ordered, if nothing else makes making warranty and return claims that much easier.

    I'd be contacting Amazon.

I agree. The only time I accept a different product, is when the product I have is much better, to compensate for the trouble I'll have come to warranty, if needed.

    This is what LG said

    Dear Mr Smith,

    Thank you for your email.

The two different product codes at the end of the model number refer to minor revisions of the componenets within the unit itself. It may be that at the time of original manufacture, the PN model used one component whereas the revised BN model uses an alternative one. The codes are more for manufactural use and do not bear any relevance to the customer.

I hope this has been of use. Should you require any further advice or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Thank you for choosing LG Electronics.

I think LG miss understood you.
It's not the "BN" "PN" it is the difference between ips235v and ips236v

It's mega confusing all this and it's a pain in the Bottom. I just wish i was given what i bought the ips236v the one with the brown tint to the stand.

To me there saying that it's the same and stats wise it appears that way but i like the look of the ips236v and i don't know if the Response time of the one they sent me is the same it's all a bit of a f up

and Thanks for you help dude
