Well, we've got the "blue" covered in the "red, white and blue Brexit". I wonder what the red and white will turn out to be?

Farage lost the local election to a guy in a dolphin suit. Made my day. :hehe:

Which time? Hasn't he failed to win an election like 8 times?

Yes, but not all of them to a dolphin. I think there may also have been a raccoon and a guy with a duck on his head. :p

Just think, everytime the dolphin opened it's mouth something seemed fishy and yet somehow less fishy than anything Farage ever says :D

IIRC it was in whatever constituency Bercow stood in, it was a bit a fix as none of the major parties bothered to oppose him, it was elect Bercow, Farage or a dolphin, i think it was around the time Farage had his brush with death in a plane crash.

Still, in a three-way competition between a home-flipping Tory, a guy in a dolphin suit and yourself, it must be quite demoralising to come after even the guy in the dolphin suit.

It's a bit poor when you have to tell yourself that at least your political career is not as bad as dying in a plane crash... :p

Well, it appears that Farage has chosen his three questions to ask the EU. And teh stupid, it burns!

"Does Michel Barnier understand why Britain voted for Brexit?"

The real question is: does Britain know what it voted for yet?

"What happens to the EU’s economy if there’s no trade deal with Britain?"

Detailed impact assessments are already published and downloadable on the EU website. Where are Britain's?

"How does Michel Barnier view mass immigration into the EU coming across the Mediterranean and elsewhere?"

None of Britain's business anymore, is it?

    :duh:

The questions he selected to asks reveals a lot about Farage IMO, if you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourself.

Doesn't it? He is still jumping up and down going: "Notice me! Notice me! You'll be sorry if you don't notice me!..."

I'm trying to work out why any foreign politicians take him seriously after how he's behaved with the EU.

They don't, they take what he says seriously though, you sort of have to as no matter how absurd, untrue, or down right wrong what someone like Farage says is if it's left unchallenged people eventually start to believe it, repeat a lie often enough and all that.

EDIT: So it looks like as suspected Cameron was held hostage over holding the referendum.

As expected, Nigel Farage's meeting with Barnier ended in an anti-climax:

Bless his socks: daddy paid attention to him...

Well surely you contributed to that confusion yourself, Nigel? But it's not his job to understand why people voted for brexit; that's your job. His job is to get the best trade position for the EU-27 in a Brexit negotiation as authorized by its member states.

And that makes a difference, how? The UK is still leaving. The EU-27 are still aiming for an orderly separation and to get the best trade position for the EU-27 in negotiations. To quote Theresa May:

    Meanwhile:

Or "Well, that is 30 minutes of my life that I won't get back..." /pours himself another cup of coffee. Fresh ground, french press, of course.
