Oh, yeah, Because everyone REALLY cares about stiffing the UK gamers.

That said - Australians have it even worse for pointless release date gaps :/

Hell no. She is mighty fine, as doctors go :p

Makes a very welcome change seeing her lovely visage grace the gaming news posts. Beats that ugly Thompson goit hands down.

There's nothing wrong with PEGI, it just needs to become mandatory and legally enforceable.

    On the actual topic....

Like EA is actually worried it will slow down their process. They're just saying this now to prime the games journalists for when they blame their already late releases on the ratings system.

I would prefer option number 3: No rating system at all. Though I'm not from the UK, but from Denmark, so I couldn't care less. I've never even glanced at the rating of a game, movie and/or book before buying it. Hell, I haven't looked at the ones I have on the shelves. And I think it's a complete waste of time and money. You should be able to judge the contents of the game from the cover, description on the back and/or talking to the clerk at the store. If you buy online, then what's your excuse for not going to the official site, that every game has now-a-days and see for yourself?

    Huge teeth...

All the better for chewing up all of EA's release date plans.

Here they go again, trying to make another tiresome and pointless process to further piss off and worry the gaming community. I'm sick of government officials who think they know it all and have never touched a video game in their life claiming that they corrupt our minds.

Why can't they have a go at dicking all over something else. I could swear that by allowing your children to watch Big Brother you are lowering their IQ.
