So we have all seen the email scams "YOUR FUND IS READY FOR COLLECTION" "YOUR LOTTERY WIN" etc and there are several scams running on ebay, asking people to send funds via different sites not directly linked to ebay or various other auction sites,. Simple rule if it sounds too good to be true, it normally is. and most of us here can smell a scam like a fart in a car. So...... I recieved this link from one of my mates and this is amazing!!! Totally awesome what this guy did to an ebay scammer...I was enthralled by the whole story and Lol'd so much. it is a bit long but the story is worth the read. And what the scammer actually gets is awesome. If this is a reposted link I appoligise. Bindi dont get the ban hammer. please. http://www.zug.com/pranks/powerbook/index.html This guy is EPIC!
That was one of the funniest things I have ever read I would love to have taken part in something like this, im glad the scammer got what he deserved. +Rep for giving me a laugh
I've seen this a few times but never read it all the way through before, and it's pretty damn funny. Especially the bit with the 'covert' surveillance. Here's the link to the original thread, in case anyone wanted it. Over $500? Really?
I read the whole thing. Absolutely fantastic scam, brilliant story! A lot of work went into that, and it's obvious that a lot of people were involved in it I also find it disturbing that Jeff was never heard from again. I hope he didn't get into any sort of trouble over this awesome f**k you prank on a scumbag ebay scammer!
maybe "Jeff" is just a puppet, like a character that was created and controlled by all those who pranked the guy
Sorry to change the topic, but why did you create a second username on the forum? Did you fall out with the last one?
