Can't play until this weekend. So if someone could tell me how this slowmo feature works that would be cool. My guess is that it's just like the Matrix mod for UT back in the day. Time for everyone on the server slows down. But tell me how it goes.

 

So much out to download and play this last couple of weeks. I'm not someone to want everything, but jeez, I've been maxxed out practically constantly the last few days.

 

well I've downloaded it, but can't be bothered to install right now. Didn't check first, does it need the single player version installed first (as I'd assume this doesn't include the engine)? I really don't wanna dig up or redownload that one too :/

Always a downside of working on a different computer. Especially when your ram, cores, clock speed and GPU power are all cut in half (well, clock speed is lower but not halved, and I don't want to even try playing with 512mb of ram)

anyone else agree that give game is AMAZING!

multiplayer that is...single player is to scary.

Wow, a stock 9600se can handle it at high.

 

my cousin on 1GB PC3200 ram, FX5600 256mb, 2800xp has to run everything at low, low res, low everything else and it still crawls.

 

I can play it at med. with the PC in my sig, but only at 800 x 600.


Bad-ass is all I can say. I will be purchasing this when ever it comes out

 

god this game is awesome. i just played it for like 4 hours straight, the same exact map

basically, there is some sort of item, and when you pick up the item (only one in the map) you can "see" an icon showing in what direction it is, and when you have it, you glow, and it charges. when it turns white, you go into slomo mode, and everyone else is also, but they are slowed and cant move fast, but they can still aim normally.

its an awesome implementation, and the weapons are balanced nice, the graphics are awesome, and its just plain fun. i wish the flag carrier was labeled, and teammates were eaiser to distinguish from enemies though.

but this game when its released will be simply amazing

I always download new demos from games.yahoo.com. Usually very fast when other mirrors are bogged down from overcrowding. Oops, now yahoo will be overcrowded, too. Never mind, don't go there.
