Greetings and congrats on getting a frontpage nod at [H]ard|OCP. Excellent, excellent work, I can't wait to see the finished product.

    Wow... just... wow.

I had plans on making a custom box for a mini-ITX, and now I want to save my money and ideas and go all out like you did.

I have a feeling your motherboard will be stealthed to look a little something like this:

    http://www.mini-itx.com/projects/bantampc/images/bantampc0018.jpg

But, bigger and much more eye candy.

If you are thinking of something like the above miniatx above then I think you should pay some notice to the mosfets and capacitors around the socket on the IC7-G.

With a normal heatsink fan those have enough air passing over them to keep them running fine. But when water cooling you'll find you have to at least have the PSU's second fan pulling hot air off them.

Also the ordinary north bridge fan on the IC7-G is a little noisy and feels a little shaky. You might want to go with a passive or even upgrade it to the new fan used on the IC7-G Max3:See here

If stelthed that fan could fail (its active and with reduced airflow it will compensate by running faster).

I'm guessing that you'll have thought of this already, or maybe you aren't even going in that direction. But I thought I'd speak out just in case. Besides I couldn't get the PM to work.

Actually, I thought it was quite similar to a Borg Cube in style...very sleek, green and shiny.

    Great work G-gnome,

I have often commented to various people that the face of case modification has changed drastically. Where simple windows and lights just don't cut it anymore. There have been several people who have managed not only the fabrication process of creating a new case but to take a stock case and create a new art form. You should be proud of the work presented here. This is definately front page news and I'll throw up a little blurb at MTB. The shower head cable idea was brilliant, but I think the same sort of idea could have been achieved with chrome split loom. Looking forward to the next set of updates.

Hey G-gnome, it's been posted up at Anandtech.com. People are loving it there. But, hehe, the case community is no where near as big as the ones here. :dremel: bit-tech :dremel:

G-Gnome, I'd like to bring your excellent and jaw-dropping work to the attention of PC Format, a UK PC magazine (don't know if they have an australian version or not.. You can get it shipped out there though :p)

They recently started doing a modding section, featuring some pretty good mods, but none of them come anywhere near to this.. This is just amazing.. :D

Let me know what you think.

Well, if the quality continues, as I'm sure it will, there's a risk of it being slashdotted, which will probably take down bit-tech, at least temporarily..

I am simply without any words that could define the images that I've seen, I can see all the hard work and the labor of love, It's much more than My humble efforts at modding.

I'm currently waiting to get enough cash (from ebay) together to buy a jigsaw blade and some blue tape ($6.98) so that I can cut a hole out for a window kit that I bought recently. I should have spent the $29.00 It would have required for a finished window, But I didn't, I bought the $26.00 kit, oh well. (I'm not employed and am disabled, I live with My brother).
