There seems to be alot of options for the server, but for it to be listed as Hardcore, there are prerequisites. No HUD, no 3D spotting (mini-map spotting is ok), 60% health, no health regen, no vehicle regen. I think that's it.

I like the idea of having minimap, or even if map spotted works (it was borked in BC2), it makes it practical and doesn't mean that you ALWAYS need to rely on voice comms. Other than that, it should be the same as BC2 hardcore.

 

I'll post the IP & name here as well for others who want to join. Admin tools are not readily available at the moment. So if you can't get in straight away, have a little patience.

The number of options really is spiffy. I like the idea of a HUD, mini-map spotting only, no regen, full health. Basically BF2 at that point.

 

the server that rotates all map i played last nite had the mini-map spotting and FF on. the rest are normal.

One of my favorite things so far is blowing up airplanes with an empty stinger/igla. Just aim your launcher at a plane until you get a lock and watch the pilot bail.

 

I hope so much mine comes tomorrow. I'm heading back home this weekend, then in North Wales on trips Tuesday and Wednesday, so Thursday will be the only real day I will be able to play it properly.

 

Just got an email from Asda saying they have cancelled my order as they have no stock! Useless c***s. Oh, and my refund could take up to 10 days.
