Ugh Lag I can deal with (well, put up with at least) but rubber-banding is the most annoying thing in all of online gaming; it caused many a rage in my raiding days(twice it caused a wipe on end of raid bosses). I don't rage often but rubber-banding can cause it every time, I usually just close the game and play tower defense lol.

 

At the moment I'm ragequitting to go blow up spaceplanes in KSP, it's that annoying.

I'm still doing well in some games, however. The lag sometimes, very rarely, works in my favour, and it's bloody fun when that happens. It's like being a Ninja!

 

I think everyone goes through that to some degree. I've had a huge downturn recently, but last night I nailed about 300 kills in the space of about 3-4 games. God knows where it came from, but I think people just get into a "zone" and sit there for a while, before dropping back out for whatever reason (usually something mentally involving).

Here's hoping it continues for me for the M1014

 

Admittedly, even with my hideous lag, and rubberbanding, I still got a good game or two in. Like the one where it started with me against Digi and Deadbolt. I'm amazed I even walked out of that one on the points I did.

That said; those two were sniping, and I was switching between the AEK and Saiga during it, but considering how laggy I was, and how much of a goddamn surgeon Deadbolt is with that .44; I don't think I did too badly.

Also; He's a Showgirl.

 

The timing of him coming online was priceless. Should be online tonight only thing Im doing is installing the SSD and BF3 plus Chrome so i can get a few rounds in.

Its due to arrive anytime soon!

 

Enjoy it while it lasts. Windows installs onto SSDs are awesome.

I should really reinstall mine. Maybe when i'm ready to upgrade to Windows 8.

 

Ended up running around for around 20 kills with the knife solely because your lag was pissing me off...

In other news; I'm lurking on the mumble. Waiting for Deadbolt and Lassar to finish their Co-op runs. As they're going for highest possible scores, so they can be smug at the top of the leaderboards again.

 

I'm smug regardless. And I'll be on in a few days. Maybe. Probably in the afternoon for you guys.

 

My connection still appears to be ass, though, so I'm still going to be jittering and banding all over the place. I'm not entirely sure of the cause at this point in time.
