Other GIVEAWAY - MTB Grips photo challenge - Winner biojellywobbles

I've asked if there is any interest in a free pair of bicycle grips in the We like to ride bicycles thread and several people expressed an interest, so here goes.

The grips are Limited Edition ODI Patriot grips worth £25, which have custom etched Union Jacks on the clamps, the clamps are Red and Blue, which matched with the White grips make up the GB flag.

Rules.

1. You need to be an active member of the forum.

2. 100 posts minimum.

3. UK based, (reasons are I can't afford lots on postage and the grips are stamped with GB logos)

4. You need to post an interesting image of your bike, it can be an artistic shot of the rear cassette looking down the chainline, a picture of it at the top of a black run, even a picture of you back flipping.

But it MUST be your bike.

Good Luck, I'll pick a winner on Sunday 31st March and get them posted out the following week.

Token aluminium top cap and star nut - in red to match the red flashes on the grips. I put this on a bike once, did one ride and took it off so it's basically perfect nick.

I'll try to get a couple of decent pictures when I visit Afan this week, my ability may hold me back somewhat though

 

I'm not bothered about the quality of the image, its just got to be something interesting.

It was more I wanted you all do do something other than type "Durrrr, freebies, I want them!".

Thought there might have been a bit more interest than this though

Come on guys, I thought there might be more interest in this given the number of bike riders onthe forum.

There is 1 week left and so far there is a clear winner because he's the only person who's posted.

 

I would but I dont have a good enough camera or good enough weather to do anything

 

I'm not asking for amazing quality images, like I said it can be a photo of a part of your bike, i just wanted something more than people mindlessly saying "Durrrr, I'm in, give me the free stuff".

 

I'm stuck in Lockerbie with work at the moment so I have some photos of the bike I cab get creative with unless you have a reeeeeally long telephoto lense I can use .
Deep snow is very deep!

 

Sadly I sold my bike earlier this year. I used to own a Claud butler chinook but it sat in the shed for ages. A week later my car packed up. :/ might have a very unartistic photo of it somewhere which won't win however its sad to see a competition so cruelly under entered.

Im not sure im going to be able to do mine before the 31st. Shame because i have some time off the week after that!

 

Just get a picture up as its a 1 horse race.

The weather is severely hampering my ability to get out on the bike and I imagine its the same for a lot of us.

 

I plan to take a picture of this in the next day! I actually cycle through snow every morning as I know a few do (Malv I'm looking at you!) and there's a few nice places to take shots..
