Erm, I thought the idea of a gpu support was to take stress OFF the motherboard, not apply it to a tiny spot on the edge. Also looks as ugly as sin.

It doesn't look great although I don't think it'd put any real amount of stress on the upper right corner of a board, given there's a mounting screw there and the bulk of the graphics card weight is supported by the pci-e slot and rear i/o mount.

There are far prettier solutions out there though.

I think gpu support it so avoid the gpu pcb from benching and there being too much pressure on the pcie slot, this solves both those problems, and that part of the PCB is near a screw so don't see any issues.

If you don't like the look of it that's fair enough though :D

I think placing it next to a screw will concentrate the forces and increase the likelihood of damage. But I could be wrong. I often am. Ha ha

    But yes, hideous.

If you think about the forces placed on a motherboard when you mount a massive 1kg+ cpu cooler in a tower case, then a small plastic bracket holding an even smaller percentage of the weight of a graphics card pales into insignificance.

That point on the MB will have the least flex. The screw doesn't place any force on the Motherboard.

Dear CaseKing, it doesn't have to be that complicated.
