nope was a remake of old film called the same "Mean Machine" was another remake with football / soccer

 

This one was the 1974 film with Burt Reynolds

 

It was remade with Adam Sandler a few years ago (as the Longest Yard) and again with Vinnie Jones (as Mean Machine).

Oh and I got it from the Adam sander version,but knew there was a old version, which seemed to match the scene.
