... that sent you to the emergency room.
Injury breeds ingenuity, my friends!
Paintball mask as well, but only when absolutely necessary (gotta make the glasses do the work sometimes) and mine have fairly substantial protection for the rest of the face as well. Gotten one too many pieces of metal stuck in my face, it's just plain too pretty for all that.
I would rather have gone to the ER than have plexi in my eye.
My trips to the ER usually involve poking and prodding by a nurse who looks like an NFL lineman in a nurses clothes.
The ER nurse that tended to my dad last time was ho - ot!
I only had a nerf frisbee during my childhood. Access to any air powered gun would have been dangerous. I know I would have at least chopped the nerf darts up and used them for sabots for some heavy upholstery needles.
Wow, I didn't know they've legalized prostitution in hospitals now! I want a ho too, but not one that's on over-time. That just seems like a bad combination...
I hate rain. Trying to finish up for beauty shots. The hurryier I go - the behinder I get. Frak.
God dammed rain lol. That's a nice colour though.
hey, now.... Careful with that colorful language! What do you think we're on, a Battlestar?
Happy Father's Day in US
Been outside with the radiator and the paint. Weather is warm and no breeze so I have a 1/3 acre paint booth in the back yard! Set up the table and let's paint.
Seems like an awful lot of work for something nobody will ever see! But you know - I'll know it's there and done right. I guess that's what we do.
Nice job on the rad, I love how that red looks like.
Thanks. I think it's a nice contrast too. I didn't like the original chrome.
Did you notice the dent in the fins? Mid row on the left.
I forgot how nice it was to paint something outside and not get 50 million bugs in the paint.
-You can't see the dents without a microscope.
I'll straighten the fins soon anyway. You can't expect much from a PC product that costs less than a case of Guinness. Sheesh - all this work for a hidden part. Come to think of it, ALL the parts are hidden.
I'm trying to think of something to say, but I can't.
This is awesome.
And that paint looks great.
It's been a long road but I should have it completed for final pics this upcoming week. My wife Marilyn says so.
//edit: Have to spread some love. Sorry, John.
It's fine by me! Thanks.
Ijust want to show you guys a couple quick pics. I doing the final case assembly and want you to see a piece of the case. The Langer made it in multiple layers and he says "There might be some areas that got clam damage". This is what he meant.
This is the 'inside' of one of the side pieces.
and this is a detail from that inside:
You can see where the weave gets separated. How cool is THAT! This is real carbon fiber folks. I'm almost leaning to let the flaws show to let the world know it's real CF. I won't of course.
And how long did it take to arrive again?
Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Now go and do some more work, we all want MOAR!
