Cooling Heatsink for Core 2 CPU

    That's why they come with a Fanmate, the Zalmans are always loud on full voltage but still give good cooling at lower volts and therefore volume.

    Silentpcreview modded the 9500 to add a quieter fan but you'd be as well just buying a Ninja or XP-120 unless your heart is set on copper flowers. I do like my Zalman cooler for my 7800 though, when I get an 8800 it's most certainly getting a Zalman HSF chucked onto it.

    that mod is ace! and the 120 fan on the next page is what i want!

    shame he don't live in UK or i would have posted my 9500 to him and ask for a mod

    i installed my Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro over the weekend dropped the temps by about 12degc so far, but for some reason its stuck running at 2200 rpm, so is a little loud, and i cant figure out how to turn down the fan speed :(
