After another qick wet sand , a few more coats of spray putty was applied. Again left to dry for the most part of the day and given one final wetrub Some close ups show how each little area is worked to the result needed. One final going over with primer! this is the last step before one more wetsand and finally the paint.
Thought it was finished? just a few shots to show the product and the technique used to apply it!!!! A few shots to show the base with the pc
Answame men !! I loved you other HP MODs so I would love this withou any dude. It´s lovely and incredible. Go on !! One thing, look at you private message list, I´ve sent you one, THANKS. Drackhon!!!!
You really know how to punish plastic. It would have taken me a week to do what you did in one evening to the side panel.. Waiting for updates .
Your attention to detail and explanation of the long hard road one must take to get a finish like this is quite impressive. Get this posted over @ wizD STAT!
I decided that now was a good time to cut the second (top) vent hole and do a proper looksee! Nothing really flash to show you guys, just me cutting a hole! so ive left that out and moved onto the better shots. A bit of early spray putty was used to help fill in the larger scratches from the cuts and sanding. Next (using some double sided tape for now)was to sit the side vents in. Last was to pop the panel on!... i have to admit i really like this look and i think it will fit in with the rest of the theme, not bad for a $2.50 mod  Maybe some added lighting later
Alright he is working on a new case looking forward to see this one finished like all the other bad @ss cases he has done.
Cheers guys appreciate the great replies Cheers SB ty mate yer i've been slack!!!! slowly getting this one posted to all forums, Can't wait to spend some time back over @ WizD miss you guys over there
Oh my god. How I love the vents! It's outstanding again! But... how could I be surprised? I should be used to it, right? // edit: Sorry if I missed it but what color scheme will you choose for this project?
Looking good so far. You really have something against those HP's don't you cutting them up all the time, anyone would think that you had a grudge . The base flames look great, you have succeeded in making them look moulded you really are the guy with the putty skills
sofar i like the look of the case, the duct in the front and now the luvers on the sides. but ill tell ya, in order to make this casereally nice, the finishing cherry on the top so to say, would be an amazing paint job. that will make or break this case
Cheers guys ty Thanx aon, great to see you again mate I Never start a mod with a colour scheme in mind! as you seeen with HP2-Evo it went thru 3! colour changes bfore i finally decided on the end colour. The first thoughts were to go for a basic "MATT" black paint job, i think the shape of the case and the detail in each mod is good enuf to pull it off. But! I like the thought of all silver as well and i my pull out the old airbrush for detailing. The matt black will look mean and oldskool badass! the silver will look more futuristic and classy. its black and white basically .....and i'll prolly end up painting it both colours @ some stage just to see!
Like the hotrod idea Jokkocze! Might be a little more work for your good-ol'-airbrush but it'd be worth it I guess.
